To get our vacation started this past weekend, we spent some time in Boston with Professor Rao from Mysore, India. A handful of hours sitting on floor blankets, chanting, laughing, and readjusting our sore and slightly travel weary muscles every few minutes, we listened to this man share his abundant knowledge of the Yoga Sutras… It was incredibly clear that we were in the presence of yoga greatness. It was well worth the sciatic nerve pain that occasionally attacked our glutes and forced Matt out into the lobby of North End Yoga for some spinal twists mid lecture. I toughed it out for the duration, although by the end of the afternoon, I was pretty sure my legs might fall off. Again, well worth it.
Sunday morning, we attended early morning Mysore. My first Mysore class ever! Victory and well deserved post yoga coffee photo below.
Tomorrow, our vacation continues with a late night flight to Dubai… We just might be more excited about our flight on Air Emirates to Dubai than we are about Dubai it’s self! We’ll be sure to take photos from the plane bar while toasting our champagne from 35,000 feet.

Safe travels my friend – cheers!
